Over the past several years, The Lambdins have been privileged to participate in church singings, concerts and various church functions. On Sunday May 16th, we were honored with a special opportunity to sing at the Eighth Annual Ryan's Gospel Singing Jubilee. This special event took place at the Mount Carmel Christian Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and was graciously embraced by church members and the community. Ryan Mercer was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 6 months of age and continues to battle cerebral palsy and severe scoliosis. He is currently a junior at South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, GA. At the age of 4, Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC) provided his first wheelchair as a result of his visiting Santa and making his wish known. To this date, more than $80,000 has been raised through the Annual Ryan's Gospel Singing Jubilee. Ryan loves gospel music and promotes these concerts to enable funding for this and other charitable organizations. Ryan is a special blessing to all who know and love him.
As we sang in this beautiful church
with The Carolina Boys and The Hayes Family, The Lambdins were reminded once
again of just how wonderful the Lord has been to allow us to be a part of
such an important musical event. At the close of the service, the
groups all joined Ryan to sing his favorite song, "I'll Fly Away". Our special thanks go to Ryan, his
parents, Roy and Rhonda Mercer and to Willis and Martha Bennett, his
Grandparents. Be watching for the announcement of the 2005 Ryan's
Gospel Singing Jubilee If you would like to learn more about Ryan

abundant for such a worthy cause. |
