It was so wonderful being with you this past weekend at Boston Baptist Church and at Emlyn Baptist Church. It is such a joy and a blessing to worship the Lord with you in Spirit and in Truth.
Thank you for obeying the Lord and doing His work. It was so good to be with you in the house of the Lord. We left feeling so blessed. The Lord truly blesses us every day in so many ways, but we really received an extra blessing this past weekend.

Before I continue with this email....I'll introduce myself. I am Jackie
"Evans" Byers. I 've lived in Michigan since I left Jellico so many years
ago. Robert and Melvin are still there and I do go back to visit them
from time to time. Now that my Parents are both gone it is so hard for me
to go back because it is not the same. Ky. Hill has changed so much and
the folks that reside there are strangers to me now. I loved that old
hill and the people on it and wish sometimes I could turn back time and
revisit the old days. Really had some good times at your house and loved
your Mom. I was closest to Polly but thought a lot of all of you all.
The playhouse was one of the best things your Dad ever built.
I've been meaning to write you all for some time and just never got around
to it. Sorry I waited until I got the sad news about Bill passing.I just
got an email from my Uncle in Jellico about the death of Bill. My deepest
sympathy to all of you on your loss.
I have not seen you all for many years but I do think of you often. Those
childhood memories become more precious as the years pass. Jellico seems
so long ago but what happy childhood memories we made on Ky. Hill !!!!
We did not realize how lucky we were back then.
I'm hoping to catch up to you all some day soon and see you in person. My
Granddaughter is a teacher in Norcross and maybe when I visit her I will
be able to attend one of your services. I check your web site often and
and enjoy your CDs. The 3 I have have been played, played and played. I
really do enjoy them and the message they bring.
Please tell everyone I am so sorry about the passing of Bill and I know
you will miss him very much.

Mary Lou, It was great hearing from you...I wanted to check out the website as soon as I could, and I must say it's really terrific! I can vividly recall sitting in the living room at your house on the Hill and listening to the songs...all of you taking part in those family gatherings. What an inspiration the singing was during those simpler days of our lives. None of us sitting and listening at the time probably gave a whole lot of thought to what your wonderful family was instilling in us, but we had to grow from the experience, each and every one of us who visited. I, of course, probably "visited" more than anyone else. Matter of fact, my presence at your house was oftentimes so lengthy that I'm sure there were times when "pest" would have been more appropriate.
